The LFJ 24 is a reel lifter with a rigid steel frame. Lifting is carried out from the reel axle in the same way as with the chain-based LF 24 lifter. Ground pins keep the lifter in place during pulling. The rigid frame also allows the use of an optional brake device.

The sturdy hot-dip galvanized frame is durable and does not bend even under heavier use. Supplied with a bearing-mounted reel axle; the brake device is available as an accessory.
